One year of Oahu’s vehicle registration renewal self-service kiosks

OAHU, HI (KITV)—More than 36,500 vehicle registration cards and emblems processed.

February marks one year of Oahu’s vehicle registration renewal self-service kiosks.

Since then, the machines have processed and printed more than 36,500 vehicle registration cards and emblems.

“We are working to improve the way our residents access basic government services like renewing a vehicle registration,” said Customer Services Director Sheri Kajiwara. “We want to eliminate the need to stand in line.”

The kiosks are located at the following Safeway stores:

•Kapahulu Safeway, 888 Kapahulu Ave.
•South Beretania Street Safeway, 1234 S. Beretania St.
•Kane‘ohe Bay Shopping Center, 46-065 Kamehameha Hwy
•Kapolei Shopping Center, 590 Farrington Hwy
•Waimalu Plaza Shopping Center, 98-1277 Ka‘ahumanu St.
