ATLANTA—The Fulton County Tax Commissioner and Georgia Department of Revenue have expanded their MVD kiosk program with a new kiosk location at AAA Chastain Park office, 4410 Roswell Road in Atlanta.

The kiosk program has proven to be widely popular with Georgia residents, doubling in size during 2017. Much of this growth is due to placing kiosks in conveniently located third-party retail stores, allowing citizens expanded access to renew Georgia vehicle registrations. The kiosk at AAA allows residents to have their emission and smog testing completed and, upon approval, immediately complete their registration renewal process.

The Georgia motor vehicle kiosks, provided by Intellectual Technology, Inc., allow residents to conduct their vehicle registration business on their own schedule. By using the inspection service and MVD kiosk at AAA, residents can avoid an additional stop at the local county tag office.

Kiosks are easy to use, and registrations can be renewed in as little as 2 minutes. Simply scan your driver’s license, swipe your credit card, and then print your registration card and decal. GA motor vehicle kiosks accept payments by credit or debit cards. Instructions and voice prompts are in available in English or Spanish, making the kiosks as easy to use as an ATM.

In addition, the MVD kiosks are also located at select Kroger stores and county tag offices. There are now 24 Georgia counties participating in this program. Residents of a participating county can use any MVD kiosk in Georgia, even those in other counties.
